Beauty Tip of the Week!

When doing makeup, especially my own, I focus majority of my time and effort into correcting and concealing my dark under eye circles.

Here are a few tips for those of you who need a little help in this department:

1. Moisturize! I can’t beat this into you enough haha. I don’t care how oily you are, find the correct type of moisturizer and you won’t have a problem. Make sure to use a moisturizing eye cream as well. What this will do is add moisture and plump up the skin so it’s less likely your concealer will cake up in your fine lines and wrinkles.

2. Use a yellow or salmon tone concealer. The yellow tone will neutralize the dark purple-blueish color under your eyes.

3. Apply your concealer with your fingers. Ring finger to be exact (it’s the most gentle). Apply the concealer right under the bag area of your eye and work the product up in light tapping/rolling motions. The warmth of your fingers will help blend the concealer into your skin. I like to let it set once I’m done and go over it with a damp sponge to pick up any excess product.

4. Apply your concealer after you apply foundation and eye makeup and set it with a LIGHT dust of powder.

Hope these tips were helpful! Have a great day!

    • The corrector you need depends on the color of you’re trying to neutralize. When you look at the color wheel, find the color that you want to correct and look across the wheel and that color will neutralize it. Have you looked up Eve Pearl?
