For YEARS i’ve been wanting to try Make Up For Ever’s HD foundation and I finally picked it up while I was vacationing in Singapore.
MUFE (Make Up For Ever) HD Foundation comes in 26 different shades. It claims to be an “oil-free medium-to-full-coverage liquid foundation that covers skin imperfections flawlessly while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life.” It is supposed to create a soft-focus effect and leaves your skin looking flawless. It is also made to withstand bright or harsh lighting. You can purchase it at Sephora for $42.
In the photo below:
On the left I have a picture of my skin with absolutely nothing on and on the right I have only MUFE’s HD Foundation on.
I applied the foundation with a flat top kabuki brush and buffed it in. I only needed about two pumps. It went on very smoothly and doesn’t feel heavy at all. The coverage is decent. I think it’s more of a medium coverage foundation rather than a medium-to-heavy coverage foundation. It’s not very buildable. It lasts all day & I noticed it oxidised & got a little darker throughout the day.
I will keep using this for my everyday foundation and would probably use this on clients that want matte, natural looking makeup.
Do you use this foundation? What do you think about it?
